Prior to co-founding GCSF, Phil’s legacy in the world of mobile marketing and advertising was recognized with his direct brand guidance of such titles as NBA 2Kand NHL 2K 2015, the Borderlands franchise and Bio Shock titles (See his full console credits.)
He holds engineering degrees from both NYU and Columbia and an MBA in Marketing from The Wharton School.
In his free time, he plays video games, chess and travels the world watching his daughter play basketball and son compete in luge for Team USA.
Anya Shapina - Chief Executive Officer
As the co-founder of GameChangerSF, Anya focuses on growth strategy, providing consultation in both business and financial planning to clients. Prior to co-founding GameChangerSF, Anya led business development at Kochava and Peanut Labs in San Francisco and co-founded several start-ups. Earlier in her career, she worked in finance and venture capital in her native Russia and, subsequently, in the U.S.
Anya studied international finance at the University of Richmond and The Robins School of Business. She earned her BS in Finance & Management from The Saratov School in Russia.
Anya is a former gymnast with a life-long passion for dancing. She likes adventure sports like kite-boarding and snowboarding. Anya met her husband and 100+ best friends at Burningman. She has two children, one of whom is a dog.
Silvia Albasini - Vice President of User Acquisition
With over 15 years of experience in mobile advertising, growth marketing, and user acquisition, Silvia provides thought leadership, planning, and strategic planning, working with clients to expand reach with their mobile advertising campaigns and networks. Prior to GameChangerSF, Silvia worked in business development, operations and product marketing for MySpace, Buongiorno and several other startups. She also led operations and product marketing teams at Yahoo! for over eight years.
Phill Simon - Creative Director
Phill leads concepting and oversees production of large-scale mobile campaigns. In his 15+ years as creative director he has led interactive mobile development, app development, motion graphics and animation for games, web and broadcast television.
He created mobile advertising campaigns for brands including HBO, Kraft, Mars, Progressive Insurance, Hollister, Pepsi and Anheuser-Busch.
Melonie Gonzalez - User Acquisition Director
Melonie is our Facebook user acquisition expert, making her one very popular person around here. She developed and deployed digital brand marketing and acquisition campaigns for such clients as Marvel, Magic the Gathering, and many others. Prior to GameChangerSF, Melonie founded a boutique Agency that helped launch the Maker Movement as a mainstream phenomenon. She has spent more than a decade in media planning and buying in Silicon Valley including advertising sales & operations at Yahoo!
An active participant and volunteer in many Bay Area arts causes and organizations, Melonie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from California State University at Fullerton.
Laura Singh - Advertising Manager
Laura spends her days at GameChangerSF knee-deep in campaign analytics helping clients scale their user acquisition efforts. She loves merging strategy and tactics to create the ultimate-performing campaigns. Prior to joining GameChangerSF, Laura headed marketing teams for a variety of verticals in the digital marketing space. She holds a B.S. and B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington.
In her spare time, she is a voracious book starter and a less-than-ambitious book finisher. She loves thinking and learning about any subject and has an unquenchable appetite for impromptu excursions in nature.
Esfira Shpilberg - Finance Manager
Esfira oversees GameChangerSF's accounting. She has vast financial experience acquired while working on New York's Madison Ave. She holds a BS degree in accounting from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
She enjoys traveling, reading, swimming spending time with her family and hearing a good joke.
David Pava - Brand Strategy Advisor
Dave helps publishers and developers stay aligned on product positioning, audience messaging, product features, and performance goals.
Dave has spent over 20 working on games, apps, and sites in senior marketing roles at D3P, IMVU, THQ, 3DO, Codemasters, and Turner Entertainment. Dave is the founder of David Pava Consulting Group and has advisory or consulting roles with multiple gaming companies, online retailers, and startups.
Marko Tasic - Lead Software Developer
Marko is the wizard behind GameChangerSF's systems. He keeps reporting and optimization software functioning in tip-top shape.
Marko is a Software developer and researcher who loves solving difficult, practical problems. His passion is building highly scalable solutions. Marko earned his Computer Science Bachelors from New York Inistitute of Technology.
Aleney - User Acquisition Manager
Aleney helps clients expand the reach of their user acquisition campaigns to a wide range of networks. Prior to joining GameChangerSF, Aleney worked in paid social advertising at an agency and was a senior manager at mobile advertising network Aarki.
Aleney is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara. She enjoys traveling the world and spending time with loved ones.
